The South Wales Law Awards (now also known as the Welsh Law Awards) exist to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of Wales’s legal profession.

These awards shine a spotlight on the law firms, legal teams and individuals who consistently go above and beyond, whether it's protecting people’s rights, supporting families through life’s most difficult moments, driving economic growth or leading innovation in legal services across Wales.

Special Recognition: Phil Evans, Shortlisted for Conveyancer of the Year Award

Among our four nominations, one holds special meaning: Phil Evans has been shortlisted for Conveyancer of the Year and it’s hard to imagine anyone more deserving.

With over 30 years of experience, Phil has helped generations of families in South Wales (and further afield) buy their first homes, move up the ladder and invest in their futures. His dedication, calm expertise and encyclopaedic knowledge of the local property landscape make him a household name.

There are very few people in the area who haven’t either worked with Phil directly or had a family member who has. In fact, many clients now return with their children and grandchildren, continuing a tradition of trust that spans decades.

Outside the office, you'll likely find Phil most weekends at Penydarren Park, proudly supporting the mighty Merthyr Town FC, another passion that speaks to his deep-rooted commitment to the local community.
